Case studies demonstrating the impact we have helped create.


Our client, AT&T, is a leading provider of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) solutions that wirelessly connect diverse devices to a network, enabling two-way communication. From trucks and turbines to heart monitors and vending machines, M2M allows network-ready devices to connect and share reliable real-time data via radio signals. The M2M solutions group was in active discussions with GE, a diversified technology company, in establishing a strategic alliance for global M2M communications. Our project scope was to design and develop a series of marketing assets for AT&T to convey the value proposition of such an alliance during a series of senior executive meetings.


Working closely with client executives and subject matter experts, we crafted the key messages for the meetings. The marketing assets to be developed included an animated video, titled "The Talking Locomotive" depicting how GE locomotives would benefit from the connectivity solutions, M2M expertise and industry knowledge offered by our client, in addition to print materials highlighting case studies of similar initiatives. Within a very short period of time, the CDS team developed storyboards and mock-ups that were reviewed and finalized with the client. Visual assets were assembled and brought to life by our team of animators that worked under tight deadlines to get everything ready.


Supported by the assets developed by CDS, the meetings between the senior executives were very productive. A strategic alliance was announced in Oct 2013 and the video was included in press releases as well as shown during the annual Mind + Machines conference hosted by GE.
